So, I had a full blooded Siberian husky for 10 years. He and this mutt we had were a major part of every day for my husband and me. Unfortunately, all good things must end and for us that end came just 2 months ago. Hard as it was, we decided to adopt another full blooded Siberian husky and totally changed the dynamics in our household by doing so. On one hand, our mutt doesn't have to be lonely ( she and our husky grew up together), on the other she is NOT interested in playing with a brat. Huskies are very intelligent and energetic from sunrise to sunrise, so my free time has vanished to an almost non-existence. I love taking the puppy out to run and enjoy things with me that my other dog used to do, and many new experiences that only he enjoys. I'm excited to add a new chapter to our life, but with this new adventure, I'm unsure when I will be able to work on new stuff... Until then I wish you all well, and I promise to be here whenever the pup will allow it. (He is really good, so I'm sure it will be sooner rather than later)
Ha!
Contest didn't go so well.....Such is life! I look forward to working hard on the next opportunity! If you haven't looked over the insidious contest entries, you are missing out on some amazing pieces by very talented artists, Good luck to the fifteen semi finalists!
working
Decided to try my luck in a contest. Luckily I have a sizeable idea pool to pull from. Looking forward to putting something down on canvas!
new day, new challenge
Not sure where this site will take me, but I'm excited over the possibilities. Seriously enjoying searching for the most interesting challenges to see how this can help me grow. I have also discovered that allowing my database to sit dormant for six months at a time only creates additional work! I think that "plug and play" should include the addendum (after much frustration and tweeking. ) If I finish this tonight, I will most likely expand my gallery, please enjoy, leave a message if you would like! I am honored to be on a site with so many wonderful and talented people.
Devious Journal Entry
I finally decided to break down and create a site on deviant art. I have long admired the work of others that I have seen on the site, but I was never really convinced this was a good outlet for me. I hope to meet others, and hopefully be able to share works that will make people happy. Drop a line if you have any questions or just want to say hi!
